The waterlogging situation on all major roads in Delhi is under control. The Delhi Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said that all concerned agencies are on alert following the directions of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. It said the Chief Minister has reviewed the situation with officials.
The CMO said that the teams of the Delhi Jal Board, Public Works Department and the Municipal Corporation are on the ground and prepared to deal with any situation. It added that the Delhi Government is working on a war footing to tackle waterlogging, and all necessary measures are being taken by the administration.
Moderate rainfall lashed several parts of the national capital since last night. The India Meteorological Department predicted cloudy sky with a spell of very light to light rain at many places with moderate rain at isolated places in the city during the day.
