Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today launched cashless medical facilities for the pensioners and family pensioners of the Delhi Jal Board under the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan. She added that this will save them from paying out of pocket or chasing reimbursements.
Addressing the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan in New Delhi, she praised the workers for handling Delhi’s water and sewage issues. She also proposed to rebuild the 50-year-old Jal Board housing colonies into modern apartments. She urged the Delhi Jal Board to clean the Yamuna River within a fixed time frame and ensure fast, reliable services for both the public and staff.
Talking to the media, Chief Minister Gupta accused the previous government of not addressing the employees’ difficulties and did not care about their welfare.
