Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has launched the Green Drive Portal at the Delhi Secretariat under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, taking forward the mission to plant 70 lakh saplings across the national capital. She urged every Delhiite to join this people’s movement for a greener, cleaner and healthier capital.
Citizens can book a slot for the Mega Plantation Drive at greendrive.delhivanmahotsav.in and register themselves as an environmental saviour and reserve free saplings from the nearest government nursery.
Under the Vriksh Rath initiative, expert teams from the Forest Department will facilitate plantation at homes, institutions, residential colonies and other suitable locations with saplings, equipment and technical support.
