Delhi BJP today held a protest near the residence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge over his alleged remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late father. They demanded an apology from Kharge and the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. BJP workers and leaders, including Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra, were detained as protesters attempted to break barricades and march forward. The BJP had given a call for nationwide protests over Kharge’s remarks during an event in Patna.
