Defending champions Germany will take on Spain in the Men’s FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 final at the Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre, Belgium, this evening. It is scheduled to start at 8 PM Indian Standard Time. While Germany will aim to defend the crown they won in 2023 and lift their fourth title, Spain will chase their maiden Hockey World Cup trophy.
In the Women’s FIH World Cup final yesterday, Argentina defeated the Netherlands 3-1 in a penalty shoot-out after both teams were locked 1-1 in Amstelveen. Argentina snapped co-host the Netherlands’ dream run of a fourth consecutive and 10th overall World Cup title by winning the crown. Argentina, thus, avenged their last World Cup and Tokyo Olympics final defeat to win their third title.
