Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has paid tributes to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his 125th birth anniversary. In a social media post, Mr Singh said that Dr. Mookerjee was a visionary statesman, distinguished scholar and committed nation-builder who devoted his life to preserving the unity of the nation, strengthening democratic institutions and advancing the cause of national integration.

Mr Singh added that his ideals of fearless leadership, unwavering patriotism and selfless public service continue to inspire generations. Mr Singh expressed hope that Dr. Mookerjee’s enduring legacy will guide us in our collective endeavour to build a strong, united, self-reliant and developed India. Moreover, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. L. Murugan also paid floral tributes to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee at the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan today. He described Dr Mookerjee as a visionary leader and nation-builder.
