Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today laid the foundation stone for the T-Series tank overhauling project in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, at a cost of 450 crore rupees.

The programme was held at the Vehicle Factory Jabalpur and was attended by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The project is expected to boost self-reliance in the maintenance and production of defence equipment. According to the government, the project will further strengthen Jabalpur’s role in the defence sector and create new employment opportunities in the Mahakaushal region.
