Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid homage to Chandra Shekhar Azad on his birth anniversary. In a social media post, Prime Minister Modi said that his fearless courage and unwavering patriotism occupy a proud place in the history of India’s freedom struggle.
Mr Modi noted that Chandra Shekhar Azad motivated countless young Indians to devote themselves to the nation. He also said that Chandra Shekhar Azad’s resolve continues to inspire generations.
Home Minister Amit Shah also paid homage to the freedom fighter and immortal martyr Chandrashekhar Azad on the birth anniversary. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that Chandrashekhar Azad dedicated his entire being to the nation, making the freedom of the motherland the sole aim of his life.
He highlighted that through the Kakori Train Action, he sent a stern message to the British regime that the country’s resources belong solely to its people. The minister noted that even today, reading the saga of his valour fills one’s very soul with patriotism.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today paid tributes to the great freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad on his birth anniversary. In a social media post, Mr Singh said that Chandra Shekhar Azad not only waged a lifelong struggle against British rule but also worked to awaken self-respect, self-confidence, and national consciousness in the heart of every Indian.
He lauded the freedom fighter saying that with his indomitable courage, unwavering resolve, and supreme sacrifice, he infused new energy into the Indian freedom struggle and kindled the flame of devotion to the motherland in the hearts of countless youths.
The Minister also noted that struggling for the freedom of the motherland until his last moments, Chandra Shekhar Azad presented an indelible example of sacrifice, courage, and patriotism that will forever remain an inspiration for the people of the country.
