Defence Minister Rajnath Singh paid tribute to social reformer and visionary leader Mahatma Ayyankali on his birth anniversary today. In a social media post, Mr Singh said that Mahatma Ayyankali devoted his life to fighting for the rights and dignity of the oppressed. The Minister said that Mahatma Ayyankali challenged social discrimination and strengthened the cause of equality and social justice in society. His life and legacy continue to inspire the collective pursuit of a more equitable and harmonious society, founded on equality, dignity and social justice.
