Def Min Rajnath Singh warns Pakistan of strong response in case of attempted aggression against India

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today said that India’s security policy has witnessed historic changes during the last decade and the country follows a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism. Addressing the unveiling ceremony of the statue of Shri Rao Doodaji at Merta in Nagaur district, he warned that if Pakistan attempts aggression against India, it will face a strong response.
The Defence Minister said the Indian Armed Forces have demonstrated remarkable military capability through the 2016 Surgical Strike, the 2019 Balakot air strike and the recent Operation Sindoor. Referring to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, he said the entire country was outraged and India gave a befitting reply through Operation Sindoor. He asserted that India does not provoke anyone, but will not spare those who attack its citizens.
Mr. Singh also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working with the vision of “Development along with Heritage” and efforts are being made to spread the ideals of great leaders among the people. He added that respect for women is an integral part of Indian civilisation and several schemes are being implemented for women empowerment.
