Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NISCPR) today organised a Platinum Jubilee Ceremony to mark 75 years of its popular Hindi science magazine, Vigyan Pragati.

Speaking on the occasion, Director of CSIR-NISCPR, Dr Geetha Vani Rayasam, said the75-year journey of Vigyan Pragati has been a glorious one. She said the magazine has strengthened science communication over the decades by taking scientific knowledge to the masses in simple and accessible Hindi and promoting scientific awareness.

The Ministry of Science and Technology said that Vigyan Pragati has played an important role in bringing science closer to the common people and fostering a scientific outlook through the Hindi language.
