The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has launched the CSIR Science & Innovation Quiz (CSIR SciQuiz) on the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) Portal in association with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Launched at the backdrop of 85th Foundation Day of the CSIR, the quiz is being conducted from 20-26 September 2026 which is open to all Indian citizens. The quiz is designed to target youth which will promote scientific awareness, curiosity and public engagement with science.
It will feature MCQs and feature questions related to CSIR’s scientific achievements, technologies, innovations, institutions and contributions to society and the nation. The Ministry of Science and Technology said the initiative will offer participants an engaging opportunity to discover CSIR’s scientific achievements, technologies, innovations and contributions to nation-building. It also added that there will be more such quizzes in coming months on MY Bharat Portal to bring science and innovation closer to society.
