Union Cabinet Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is making completely false allegations against the Election Commission of India (ECI). He asked that if the ECI is not right, then how come Congress won in Kerala.
The Minister was responding to a media query in Amritsar today on the allegations made by Mr. Gandhi on the ECI yesterday. Minister Meghwal is in Amritsar participating in the ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra’. He said that all the facts given by Mr. Gandhi are false, as he is not aware that anti-incumbency is against the Congress.
Similarly, Union Cabinet Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment, Virendra Kumar, has said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi believes in the politics of lies and negativity and is merely trying to spread confusion (against the ECI).
He said this today in response to a query by the media in Chandigarh, on the allegations made by Mr. Gandhi about the working of the Election Commission of India. The Minister said that one should move forward with a positive mindset and a commitment to the nation’s development by taking everyone along.
