The Ministry of Communication today released the Indian Telecom Services-Yearly Performance Indicators report for the year 2025-26. The Ministry’s report highlighted growing trends in telecom and cable TV, DTH & Radio Broadcasting services in India for the period covering last financial year.

The Ministry said that the report which was compiled following the information provided by the Telecom Service Providers, can be availed at the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s official website. Giving some highlights of the report, the Ministry underscored that the total number of internet subscribers increased from around nine hundred and sixty-nine million at the end of March 2025 to around one thousand and ninety two million by the end of March of this year with a yearly rate of growth of 12.76%.
