Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal will visit Germany from tomorrow till 24th of this month. He will also visit the Netherlands from the 24th to the 27th of this month.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that the visit will strengthen economic ties, boost bilateral trade and promote industrial and technological cooperation.

It said that during the first leg of the visit, Mr Goyal will participate in the Berlin Global Dialogue and will hold meetings with German officials to discuss trade, investment, advanced manufacturing, green mobility and clean technology.

The ministry said, the meetings will focus on trade, investment, technological cooperation and opportunities under the India-EU Free Trade Agreement negotiations.

In the Netherlands, The Minister will hold meetings with his counterpart and other leaders to explore new trade opportunities and cooperation in green technology. The Ministry further added that the visit aims to strengthen trade, investment and technological ties between India, Germany and the Netherlands.
