Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal today met with the Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, Alois, in New Delhi today. In a social media post, Mr Goyal said that the discussions focused on further strengthening India-Liechtenstein economic and trade ties, including enhanced cooperation under the India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA). He noted that the 100 billion dollar investment commitment under the India-EFTA TEPA reflects the shared ambition to deepen investment linkages, drive growth, and create big opportunities for businesses. Mr Goyal also highlighted India’s sustained efforts to create an investor-friendly business environment through reforms to enhance Ease of Doing Business.
