India’s export trajectory relies on active Free Trade Agreement (FTA) utilisation, Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes for manufacturing, supply chain localisation, and market diversification.

Additional Secretary of the Department of Commerce, Yashvir Singh made these remarks at the inaugural session of the 3rd Confederation of Indian Industry Manufacturing Conclave. The Theme of this conclave was ‘The India Growth Story: Building Manufacturing Resilience’. Mr Singh noted that Modern FTAs are creating new opportunities for India to become a trusted and globally competitive manufacturing hub.
