Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today released the 40th instalment of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana from Agar Malwa. More than 1,835 crore rupees were directly transferred to the bank accounts of over 1.25 crore eligible women across the state.
Launched in June 2023, the scheme initially provided eligible women with 1,000 rupees per month. The amount was later increased to 1,250 rupees and, from November 2025, to 1,500 rupees per month. With the latest instalment, more than 65,000 crore rupees have been transferred to women under the scheme so far.
During his visit to Agar Malwa, Dr. Yadav also laid the foundation stones for 33 development projects worth more than 225 crore rupees and inaugurated 17 projects costing over 28 crore rupees.
