Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu held a meeting with Skyroot Aerospace co-founders Pawan Kumar Chandana and Bharath Daka.

In a social media post Mr Naidu said that Skyroot’s maiden launch reaching orbit was a defining milestone for India’s commercial space journey. He added that the launch demonstrated what bold ideas, relentless innovation, and determined execution can achieve. Mr Naidu also lauded the young team of Skyroot Aerospace.

The Minister further emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s forward-looking space reforms have empowered private enterprises and startups.
