A CID team reached RIMS (Rajendra Institute of Medical Science), Ranchi, to investigate alleged irregularities in medical seat allotment and the admission process and began scrutinising documents in the Dean’s office and other departments.
The investigation is based on complaints related to admissions made during the previous academic session, in which ineligible candidates were allegedly admitted in violation of prescribed rules.
The CID is also examining matters related to the admission process as well as tenders. Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari said that corruption or irregularities at any level in the Health Department will not be tolerated.
