A state-level meeting will be held tomorrow in Raipur in the presence of the high-level committee constituted by the Chhattisgarh government for implementing the Uniform Civil Code in the state.

 

Around two hundred people from various fields have been invited for detailed discussions on the issue. They include office-bearers of commissions, corporations, boards and development authorities, representatives of social organisations, community leaders, eminent citizens, public representatives and experts.

 

The meeting will discuss various provisions of the Uniform Civil Code, its social impact and practical aspects.
