Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister has said that Centre and states must work in the spirit of a team to ensure the country’s food security and improve farmers’ livelihoods. He said this in New Delhi today, addressing the second and last day of Rabi Conference 2026.
On the occasion, Mr. Chouhan handed over financial sanction letters worth more than 12 hundred crore rupees to Agriculture Ministers of more than ten states under the Prime Minister Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (PM-RKVY). Uttar Pradesh got the highest fund worth 601 crore rupees, while West Bengal received 290 Crore rupees, and Haryana was provided with 198 Crore rupees. Chhattisgarh received 181 crore rupees, while 154 Crore rupees was given to Arunachal Pradesh, among others.
