Chief Election Commissioner of India Gyanesh Kumar will arrive in Madhya Pradesh today on a two-day visit. This will be his first visit to the state after assuming charge.
On the first day, the Chief Election Commissioner will reach Indore, where he will attend a Booth Level Officer (BLO) conference.
He will interact directly with more than 1,500 Booth Level Officers from Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Dhar, and Khandwa districts. On the second day of the visit, Mr Kumar will visit the religious and historical sites of Omkareshwar and Maheshwar.
He will offer prayers and perform rituals on the banks of the Narmada at Omkareshwar and later visit the historic Maheshwar Fort.
