The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana Rasayan or BHAVYA – Rasayan Scheme for establishing three dedicated Chemical Parks in the country. The Scheme was announced in the Union Budget of 2026-27. Briefing media in New Delhi this afternoon, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, the Scheme will have a total financial outlay of 3,030 crore rupees. This includes 3000 crore rupees towards meeting the cost of establishing the Common Infrastructure Facilities and Basic Utilities inside the park and 30 crore rupees as administrative expenditure. The scheme would run for a period of five years from 2026-27 to 2030-31. Centre will provide a grant of up to 1000 crore rupees per park. This will be subject to minimum contribution of 500 crore rupees by the concerned State Governments.
