The Calcutta High Court has ordered Central Bureau of Investigation CBI to conclude the investigation in connection with the R G Kar Hospital rape and murder case within three weeks setting aside the plea of CBI to finish the investigation within four weeks.
Today CBI submitted a report in connection with the R G case before the bench of Justice Shampa Sarkar and Justice Tirthankar Ghosh. The next hearing in this case is on 24th September. A PGT second year doctor was raped and murdered at the hospital in August 2024. Court has convicted Sanjoy Roy in this case for life imprisonment.
