The Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), is oraganising a nationwide Research Article Competition for young scholars.
The initiative will cover 28 States and three Union Territories. It aims to promote research and informed discourse on public finance, governance, fiscal federalism, social sector spending and sustainable development by encouraging students to undertake original research based on CAG Audit Reports.
The competition will focus on four themes including Fiscal Federalism and Governance, Skilling, Employment and MSMEs, Social Sector Spending, and Empowering Urban and Rural Local Bodies. The last date for submission of entries for the State or UT level competition is 31st of the next month, while entries for the National-level competition can be submitted till 30th September this year.
The competition will be held at State or UT and National levels. Both levels will have separate categories for Undergraduate or Postgraduate and Doctoral scholars. Winners at both state and national level can win cash prizes.
