A revolution powered by small carts… small loans… and very big dreams. It is the story of the PM SVANidhi scheme, which has now completed six years. Look around any busy Indian market. A fruit seller arranging mangoes. A tea stall steaming in the morning rush. A cobbler under a tree carefully stitching a shoe. A vendor selling phone covers, bangles, or street snacks. For decades, these small entrepreneurs formed the invisible backbone of urban India. But access to formal credit? That was often out of reach. That’s where the story begins.
प्रधानमंत्री स्वनिधि योजना के छह वर्ष पूरे हो गए हैं। पीएम स्वनिधि ने बिना गारंटी के ऋण, वित्तीय समावेशन और विकास के नए अवसर खोलकर लाखों रेहड़ी-पटरी वालों के जीवन स्तर में सुधार किया है। यह योजना विश्वास, सम्मान और सशक्तिकरण पर आधारित है।

Economists say the biggest impact of SVANidhi is not just financial-it is structural. It brings street vendors into the formal credit system for the first time at scale. It reduces dependence on informal moneylenders. And it creates a bridge between small informal businesses and India’s growing digital economy.

The government has now extended the scheme until March 2030, signaling that this is not the end-but a continuation of a longer journey. A journey where India’s street economy becomes stronger, more resilient, and more connected.

क्षेत्रीय विशेष –
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में केन्द्र की एनडीए सरकार के 12 वर्ष पूरे होने के अवसर पर उत्तर प्रदेश में 05 जून से 21 जून तक विकास, सेवा, सुशासन और जनकल्याण की उपलब्धियों को समर्पित व्यापक जनसंपर्क अभियान चलाया जाएगा।
अभियान के तहत 05 जून से 21 जून के बीच प्रत्येक विधानसभा क्षेत्र में लगभग 10 किलोमीटर की प्रगति पथ यात्रा आयोजित की जाएगी। 05 जून को विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर एक पेड़ मां के नाम अभियान के अंतर्गत वृक्षारोपण और 08 जून से 14 जून तक जनसंपर्क अभियान, संवाद कार्यक्रम और पैदल मार्च आयोजित किए जाएंगे। 11 से 14 जून तक मीडिया संवाद कार्यक्रम होंगे। 14 से 16 जून के बीच जनकल्याण मेलों का आयोजन होगा वहीं 16 और 17 जून को जिला स्तर पर विकसित भारत संकल्प सम्मेलन आयोजित किए जाएंगे। 18 एवं 19 जून को केन्द्र सरकार के 12 वर्षों की विकास यात्रा तथा विकसित भारत के संकल्प को प्रदर्शित करने के लिए विशेष प्रदर्शनियां लगाई जाएंगी। 21 जून को अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर योग कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा है कि यह अभियान जनता से सीधे संवाद स्थापित करने, लाभार्थियों तक पहुंचने, उनकी अपेक्षाओं को समझने तथा विकसित भारत और विकसित उत्तर प्रदेश के संकल्प को सशक्त जनआंदोलन में परिवर्तित करने का प्रभावी माध्यम बनेगा। राघवेन्द्र त्रिपाठी के साथ परिक्रमा के लिए आकाशवाणी गोरखपुर से प्रेम चन्द्र गुप्ता ।

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर गोवा सरकार पर्यावरण संरक्षण को जन आंदोलन बनाने की दिशा में एक नई पहल करने जा रही है। इसके तहत राज्यभर में व्यापक वृक्षारोपण और हरित विकास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए ग्रीन कॉरिडोर अभियान शुरू किया जाएगा।
गोवा को और अधिक हरित बनाने के उद्देश्य से राज्य सरकार 5 जून से ग्रीन कॉरिडोर अभियान शुरू करने जा रही है। 90 दिनों का यह अभियान राष्ट्रीय और राज्य राजमार्गों के किनारे चलाया जाएगा और 5 सितंबर तक जारी रहेगा। अभियान के तहत सड़कों के किनारे बड़े पैमाने पर पौधारोपण किया जाएगा।मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंत ने बताया है कि इस अवधि के दौरान करीब दस लाख पौधे लगाए जाने की संभावना है।सरकार का मानना है कि यह पहल पर्यावरण संरक्षण के साथ-साथ सड़कों की सुंदरता बढ़ाने में भी सहायक होगी। अभियान में विभिन्न सरकारी विभागों, स्थानीय निकायों, सामाजिक संगठनों और स्वयंसेवकों की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की जाएगी, साथ ही आम नागरिकों को भी वृक्षारोपण और पौधों के संरक्षण में सक्रिय रूप से योगदान देने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जा रहा है। हर पौधा एक हरित भविष्य की ओर कदम है, और इसी संकल्प के साथ गोवा एक स्वच्छ, हरित और संतुलित पर्यावरण की दिशा में आगे बढ़ रहा है। परिक्रमा के लिए, निखिल उपाध्याय , आकाशवाणी समाचार, पणजी।

Celebrating 90 glorious years of Akashvani’s service to the nation, Akashvani Cuttack organised a vibrant Walkathon that brought together listeners, employees, presenters, anchors and retired staff members in a spirited display of unity, wellness and community participation.
The Walkathon witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 400 people, reflecting the enduring bond between Akashvani and its audience. The Walkathon commenced from the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium and passed through various parts of the city, spreading the message of fitness, togetherness and public awareness. Flagging off the Walkathon as the Chief Guest, Justice Savitri Ratho of the High Court of Orissa highlighted the growing importance of physical fitness in contemporary society. Recalling her lifelong association with Akashvani, she said that the programmes broadcast by the public service broadcaster had played a significant role in shaping her thoughts and values since childhood.

कूनो के जंगलों में चीतों के पंजों के निशान और गहरे होते जा रहे हैं। चीता परियोजना की ताज़ा खबर क्या है और ये कामयाबी कितनी बड़ी है?
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की महत्वाकांक्षी चीता परियोजना को मध्य प्रदेश के कूनो नेशनल पार्क में एक और बड़ी कामयाबी मिली है। हाल ही में मादा चीता निर्वा और उसके तीन शावकों को बाड़े से निकालकर खुले जंगल में छोड़ा गया। इस नई बढ़त के साथ अब कूनो के खुले वन क्षेत्र में घूमने वाले चीतों की कुल संख्या 20 हो गई है। वन विभाग के अधिकारियों के मुताबिक निर्वा के साथ छोड़े गए तीनों शावकों में दो नर और एक मादा हैं। इनकी उम्र करीब 13 महीने है। इन सभी को श्योपुर जिले के पालपुर ईस्ट रेंज के आहेरा पर्यटन क्षेत्र में रिलीज किया गया है। चीता परियोजना के फील्ड डायरेक्टर ने बताया कि सभी चीते पूरी तरह स्वस्थ हैं और जंगल के माहौल में अच्छी तरह ढल रहे हैं। उन्होंने इसे परियोजना की बड़ी उपलब्धि बताया। जंगल में छोड़े जाने के बाद भी इन चीतों की रेडियो टेलीमेट्री सिस्टम के ज़रिए चौबीसों घंटे निगरानी की जाएगी। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने साल 2022 में अपने जन्मदिन पर कूनो नेशनल पार्क से इस परियोजना की शुरुआत की थी। उन्होंने खुद नामीबिया से लाए गए पहले आठ चीतों को जंगल में छोड़ा था। पीएम मोदी की इस पहल के बाद से कूनो में चीतों की संख्या लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है। परिक्रमा के लिए अभिनव गोयल, आकाशवाणी भोपाल ।

विख्यात गायिका, पद्मभूषण सुमन कल्याणपूर के पार्थिव देह का आज मुंबई में अंतिम संस्कार किया गया। उनका कल ८९ वर्ष की आयु में मुंबई स्थित उनके निवास स्थान पर निधन हो गया था। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू, उपराष्ट्रपति सी. पी. राधाकृष्णन, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल जिष्णु देव वर्मा, मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस सहित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने उनके निधन पर दुःख व्यक्त किया है।
सुमन कल्याणपूर के करियर की एक विशेषता यह थी कि उनकी आवाज़ महान गायिका लता मंगेशकर से काफी मिलती-जुलती थी, जिसके कारण कई श्रोता उनके गीतों को लता मंगेशकर के गीत समझ बैठते थे। लेकिन संगीत अभ्यासक और गायिका डॉ. मृदुला दाढे जोशी का कहना है कि इस समानता के बावजूद सुमन कल्याणपूर की आवाज में कुछ ऐसी विशेषताएँ थीं, जिनकी वजह से उन्होंने अपनी अलग पहचान बनाई।

In the 22nd Asian Under-20 Athletics Championships, India delivered a historic campaign, finishing second in the standings with 19 medals comprising 10 gold, five silver and four bronze in Hong Kong. The runner-up finish marked India’s best-ever performance at the continental track and field championships outside home soil. Mogali Venkatram claimed gold in the Men’s 800 metre yesterday. The Indian 4×400 metre relay team of Bhumika, Tahura, Sehnoor and Neeru also secured a gold.
A total of 48 Indian athletes, 30 men and 18 women competed in the tournament held from 28th to 31th of last month. The championships are serving as a qualifying event for the World Under-20 Athletics Championships, scheduled to be held at Oregon, in United States in August.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the Indian contingent of Asian U20 Athletics Championships on winning 19 medals. In a social media post, Mr Modi said, this outstanding performance reflects the determination and excellence of India’s young athletes.

Benchmark domestic equity indices fell 0.7 per cent today, extending their losing streak for a fourth consecutive session. The BSE Sensex shed 508 points to close at 74 thousand 267. The NSE Nifty dropped 165 points to settle at 23 thousand and 383.
The broader market at the National Stock Exchange ended with deeper cuts. The Midcap 100 index lost over 1.4 per cent, and the Smallcap 100 index slipped 0.9 per cent.
In the forex market today, the rupee appreciated marginally to trade at 94 rupees and 99 paise against the US dollar.
In the global crude oil market, Brent Crude was trading 3.2 per cent up at 94 US dollars and six cents per barrel, while WTI Crude was trading 3.9 per cent up at 90 US dollars and 74 cents per barrel in intra-day trade.
In the Indian bullion market, 24-Carat gold was trading up at 1 lakh 59 thousand 550 rupees per 10 grams, while silver was trading up at 2 lakh 68 thousand 630 rupees per kilogram, when reports last came in.

ख़्वाजा अहमद अब्बास
आज प्रसिद्ध फ़िल्म निर्देशक, पटकथा लेखक और उर्दू लेखक ख़्वाजा अहमद अब्बास की पुण्यतिथि है थे। एक पत्रकार के रूप में उन्होंने ‘अलीगढ़ ओपिनियन’ शुरू किया। उन्होंने ‘बॉम्बे क्रॉनिकल’ में लंबे समय तक बतौर संवाददाता और फ़िल्म समीक्षक काम किया।
‘शहर और सपना’ के अलावा, ख़्वाजा अहमद अब्बास की दो फ़िल्मों, ‘सात हिंदुस्तानी’ और ‘दो बूंद पानी’ ने राष्ट्रीय एकता पर बनी सर्वश्रेष्ठ फ़ीचर फ़िल्म के लिए नरगिस दत्त पुरस्कार जीते। 1946 में आई उनकी फिल्म ‘नीचा नगर’ अंतरराष्ट्रीय ख्याति जुटाने में कामयाब रही और इसने कान्स फ़िल्म समारोह में पाल्मे डी’ओर पुरस्कार जीता। दूसरी ओर 1957 में आई उनकी फिल्म ‘परदेसी’ भी इसी पुरस्कार के लिए नामित होने में सफल रही। उन्हें 1969 में भारत सरकार द्वारा पद्मश्री से भी सम्मानित किया गया।

आज हिन्दी सिनेमा की प्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री नर्गिस दत्त की जयंती है। नर्गिस मशहूर गायिका जद्दनबाई की पुत्री थीं। कला नर्गिस को विरासत में मिली थी और सिर्फ छह साल की उम्र में नर्गिस ने 1935 में आई फ़िल्म ‘तलाशे हक़’ से अभिनय की शुरुआत कर दी थी। 1940 और 50 के दशक में नर्गिस ने कई फ़िल्मों में काम किया और 1957 में प्रदर्शित महबूब ख़ान की फ़िल्म ‘मदर इंडिया’ नर्गिस की सर्वाधिक चर्चित फ़िल्मों में रही। इस फ़िल्म को ऑस्कर के लिए नामित किया गया था।
भारत सरकार द्वारा उन्हें पद्म श्री से सम्मानित किया गया।

Nargis Dutt (born Fatima Rashid, also known as Nirmala Dutt; 1 June 1929 – 3 May 1981), known mononymously as Nargis, was an Indian actress and politician who worked in Hindi cinema. Regarded as one of the greatest actresses in the history of Hindi cinema, Nargis often portrayed sophisticated and independent women in a range of genres, from screwball comedy to literary drama. She was among the highest paid actresses of the 1950s and 1960s. In a career spanning three decades, Nargis made her screen debut in a minor role at the age of six with Talash-E-Haq (1935), but her acting career actually began with the film Tamanna (1942). Nargis had her first leading role with Taqdeer (1943). Nargis had her breakthrough with the romance film Andaz (1949) and the musical Barsaat (1949). Following this she starred in Raj Kapoor’s crime drama Awaara (1951), which was a major critical and financial success. After a brief setback in the early 1950s, she reemerged with the comedy-drama Shree 420 (1955) and the romantic comedy Chori Chori (1956). Nargis starred in Mehboob Khan’s Oscar-nominated epic drama Mother India (1957), the highest-grossing film in India at that point of time, for which she won Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Her last film was the drama Raat Aur Din (1967), for which she received the inaugural National Film Award for Best Actress. Nargis married her Mother India co-star Sunil Dutt in 1958. Together they had three children, including the actor Sanjay Dutt. Along with her husband, Nargis formed the Ajanta Arts Culture Troupe which hired several leading actors and singers of the time and held stage shows at border areas. In the early 1970s, Nargis became the first patron of The Spastic Society of India and her subsequent work with the organisation brought her recognition as a social worker and later a Rajya Sabha nomination in 1980. In 1982, the Nargis Dutt Memorial Cancer Foundation was established in her memory by her husband Sunil Dutt. The award for Best Feature Film on National Integration in the Annual Film Awards ceremony is called the Nargis Dutt Award in her honour. In 2011, Rediff.com listed her as the greatest Indian actress of all time.

Ismail Darbar is an Indian film score composer, instrumentalist, singer, violinist and music director. He won the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999). CareerIsmail Darbar is from Surat, Gujarat. He worked for several years as a session violinist for leading music directors Laxmikant Pyarelal, Kalyanji Anandji, Bappi Lahiri, Rajesh Roshan, Anand–Milind, Nadeem-Shravan, Jatin–Lalit and A. R. Rahman. Finally, he got a break with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Earlier, Darbar had played violin for Jatin–Lalit in the movie Khamoshi: The Musical. Later, his music in Bhansali’s Devdas was acclaimed. He did not work with Bhansali after Devdas due to personal differences. After Devdas, Darbar did a few more movies but without much success.[citation needed In 2005, he composed for seven out of 12 tracks for Subhash Ghai’s Kisna: The Warrior Poet after A. R.
