यह आयोजन जनजातीय गरिमा उत्सव 2026 के अंतर्गत हो रहा है। राष्ट्रपति, बेंगलुरु के भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान के नैनो विज्ञान और इंजीनियरिंग केंद्र में प्रशिक्षण केंद्र का वर्चुअल रूप से उद्घाटन करेंगी। वे देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में स्थित एकलव्य मॉडल आवासीय विद्यालयों में स्थापित 75 अंतरिक्ष प्रयोगशालाओं का भी उद्घाटन करेंगी। सम्मेलन में 26 राज्यों और 4 केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के प्रतिनिधि भाग लेंगे।
The Centre has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with four states under the Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0 to enhance safe drinking water supply across rural India. The agreement has been signed with Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Nagaland and the Union Territory of Puducherry.
The Ministry of Jal Shakti said, the reform-linked MoU promotes a gram panchayat-led, service-based and community-centred approach to rural water governance. The initiative aligned with the objectives of Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0, aims to ensure that every rural household has access to quality drinking water supply in adequate quantity on a regular basis, through strengthened community participation.

Indian nationals will no longer require an airport transit visa when travelling to a third country through German airports beginning today. German Embassy in India announced that the exemption will simplify travel for Indian citizens transiting through Germany on their way to other international destinations. The embassy described the decision as a reflection of the growing partnership between the two countries. It said the move underlines the german Government’s commitment to deepening ties between the two countries, facilitating the movement of people.
The move is expected to benefit thousands of Indian travellers, including students, professionals, business travellers and tourists, who use German airports as transit hubs for destinations across Europe, North America and other regions.

मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने बताया है कि छह मई से राजधानी में संचालित मोबाइल हीट रिलीफ यूनिटों के माध्यम से अब तक चार लाख से अधिक लोगों को राहत पहुंचाई गई है। श्रीमती गुप्ता ने बताया कि इस दौरान एक लाख लीटर से अधिक पेयजल वितरित किया गया है। इसके तहत लोगों को गर्मी से राहत के लिए सामग्री उपलब्ध कराई गई। मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि लोगों को तेज धूप से बचाने के लिए मेट्रो स्टेशनों जैसे- नांगलोई, रोहिणी, पीरागढ़ी और प्रमुख बाजारों में अस्थायी शेड स्थापित किए जा रहे हैं। मध्य जिले में इन शेडों के माध्यम से अब तक पांच हज़ार से अधिक लोगों को लाभ मिला है। वहीं, पश्चिमी जिले में 920 लोगों को लाभ मिला है। मुख्यमंत्री ने नागरिकों से अपील की कि वे अत्यधिक गर्मी के समय अनावश्यक रूप से घर से बाहर निकलने से बचें, पर्याप्त मात्रा में पानी पीते रहें, ओआरएस का उपयोग करें और हीट वेव से बचाव संबंधी सभी सावधानियों का पालन करें।

दिल्ली सरकार ने राजधानी में पानी से संबंधित समस्याओँ के निपटान के लिए जल वितरण व्यवस्था में व्यापक सुधारों की शुरुआत की है।एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में जल मंत्री, प्रवेश साहिब सिंह ने कहा कि ये सुधार जल के समान वितरण, पानी की कमी, पुरानी जल अवसंरचना के आधुनिकीकरण और शोधित जल के पुनः उपयोग को बढ़ावा देने पर केंद्रित हैं।

मुंबई के निजी सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों के प्रधानाध्यापकों, शिक्षकों और गैर-शिक्षण कर्मचारियों की लंबे समय से लंबित वित्तीय मांगों का जल्द ही समाधान होने की संभावना है। इस संबंध में हुई बैठक में सातवें वेतन आयोग के तहत अप्रैल 2016 से लंबित बकाया राशि सहित कई मुद्दों पर चर्चा हुई। राज्य में हजारों शिक्षक और गैर-शिक्षण कर्मचारी इन लंबित मुद्दों पर सरकार के अनुकूल निर्णय की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं।

बृहन्मुंबई नगर निगम अनधिकृत 10 जून से अधिकृत और लाइसेंस प्राप्त रहेडी-पटरी को क्यूआर कोड आधारित पहचान पत्र जारी करना शुरू करेगा। मुंबई में लगभग 10 हजार लाइसेंस प्राप्त फेरीवाले हैं। शहर के प्रमुख इलाकों को अतिक्रमण मुक्त रखने के लिए चलाए जा रहे नए अभियान के तहत, निगम ने शहर भर में 20 ऐसे स्थानों की पहचान की है जहां बहुत अधिक भीड़भाड़ रहती है और जहां अनधिकृत फेरीवालों के खिलाफ विशेष कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

पश्चिमी रेलवे ने मुंबई शहरी परिवहन परियोजना के तहत मुंबई के गोरेगांव और बोरीवली के बीच हार्बर लाइन के विस्तार के लिए महत्वपूर्ण विकास कार्यों के लिए 86 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की निविदाएं जारी की हैं। इसमें मिट्टी का काम, बड़े और छोटे पुलों का निर्माण, जल निकासी व्यवस्था, रिटेनिंग वॉल जैसे कार्य शामिल हैं।

पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार आज अन्नपूर्णा योजना का शुभारंभ करेगी। मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी इसका औपचारिक उद्घाटन करेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री के संबोधन के तुरंत बाद लाभार्थियों को स्वीकृति पत्र वितरित किए जाएंगे। प्रत्येक ब्लॉक, नगरपालिका और कोलकाता नगर निगम क्षेत्र में चयनित 100 लाभार्थियों को स्वीकृति पत्र दिए जाएंगे। राज्य सरकार ने योजना के सफल क्रियान्वयन के लिए सभी जिला प्रशासन और संबंधित अधिकारियों को आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएं सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

The Directorate of Private Schools has ordered all private nursery , primary, matriculation, the CBSE and other board schools in the State must display their approved tuition fee details on their notice boards on or before June 5. The schools must print and provide class wise tuition fee details in the Student admission application forms. Instructions have been issued to inspect schools in their jurisdiction and ensure compliance and submit a report to the Directorate before 10th of this month. Photo evidence alongwith acknowledgement of compliance will be obtained from schools and maintained in the office records to show proof of implementation. Every school must strictly oblige to this, failing which a Government notice will be issued to them.

The Tamilnadu Tourism Department is planning to develop iconic movie shooting locations across the State into visitor attractions. The initiative will feature photo galleries , screening of scenes filmed there, themed cafeterias and interpretative displays. The proposed film tourism circuit will complement existing heritage and cultural trails.

The city will face major traffic restrictions and tightened security today ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka Chief Minister-designate D K Shivakumar at Lok Bhavan by today evening.
Vehicular movement will be restricted on key roads between noon and 8 pm, including Cubbon Road, Dr BR Ambedkar Road, Race Course Road and Queens Road, with heavy congestion likely in surrounding areas. Traffic police have advised commuters to use alternative routes via Shivajinagar, Cunningham Road, Nrupathunga Road and the Outer Ring Road.
Parking will be prohibited on major roads and within Cubbon Park, with towing enforced for violations.

The Election Commission of India is conducting a special voter list revision exercise called Special Intensive Revision in Telangana. A review meeting was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday to coordinate the third phase of this process.
Senior Election Commission officials led by Principal Secretary Avinash Kumar and Deputy Secretary Sanjay Kumar attended the meeting. State Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy briefed officials on the assembly constituencies, appointed staff, and support centres established for SIR.
The Chief Electoral Officer said that 68.30 percent mapping of voters has been completed so far across the state.
