शिखर सम्मेलन में 50 से अधिक कंपनियों के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी और भारत तथा नॉर्वे के व्यापार और अनुसंधान समुदायों के 250 से अधिक प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। विदेश मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा कि भारत-यूरोपीय मुक्त व्यापार संघ के बीच व्यापार और आर्थिक साझेदारी समझौते के लागू होने के बाद द्विपक्षीय आर्थिक सहयोग में आई तेजी को शिखर सम्मेलन में चिह्नित किया है। शिखर सम्मेलन के दौरान भारतीय और नॉर्वे की कंपनियों और संस्थाओं के बीच कई व्यापारिक समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।
विदेश मंत्रालय ने कहा कि उच्च स्तरीय व्यापार और अनुसंधान शिखर सम्मेलन से पहले, ओस्लो में विभिन्न स्थानों पर चार गोलमेज सम्मेलन आयोजित किए गए थे। इन सत्रों में स्वास्थ्य सेवा में नवाचार, समुद्री सहयोग, बैटरी और ऊर्जा भंडारण प्रणाली, डिजिटलीकरण और विद्युतीकरण, और पवन ऊर्जा पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया।

Judges Inquiry Committee investigating allegations concerning Justice Yashwant Varma submitted its report to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at the Parliament House. It was presented in accordance with the statutory requirements under the Judges (Inquiry) Act, 1968. The report will be laid in both Houses of Parliament in due course. The Committee was constituted by Lok Sabha Speaker on 12th August last year. Presiding Officer of Judges Inquiry Committee, Supreme Court Judge Justice Aravind Kumar along with Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Senior Advocate Karnataka High Court B.V. Acharya presented the Report of Judges Inquiry Committee to Mr Birla.

सीबीआई ने भ्रष्टाचार और आपराधिक साजिश के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है, जबकि प्रवर्तन निदेशालय भी धनशोधन के पहलुओं की जांच कर रहा है।

सरकार ने उन यूट्यूब वीडियो का खंडन किया है जिसमें दावा किया जा रहा है कि भारत में केवल नौ दिन का तेल भंडार बचा है। पत्र सूचना कार्यालय की तथ्य जांच इकाई ने कहा कि यह दावा भ्रामक है। जांच ईकाई ने बताया कि भारत के पास लगभग 60 दिनों के कच्चे तेल का भंडार है और शोधन क्षमता भी पर्याप्त है। जांच ईकाई ने कहा कि देश में कहीं भी पेट्रोल, डीजल या एलपीजी की कमी नहीं है और ईंधन आपूर्ति की स्थिति स्थिर, सुरक्षित और लगातार निगरानी में है। जांच ईकाई ने नागरिकों को सलाह दी है कि वे घबराएं नहीं और ईंधन और गैस की उपलब्धता के संबंध में केवल सरकारी सूत्रों द्वारा जारी जानकारी पर ही भरोसा करें।

Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal chaired a review meeting in New Delhi on the rollout of the much anticipated Water Metro services in the country. He said, the Centre has advanced plans to roll out Water Metro services in 18 cities, with Guwahati among those identified for Phase I. Cities including Srinagar, Patna, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj are also part of Phase I, while Tezpur and Dibrugarh in Assam have been proposed for Phase II of the project. Highlighting the initiative, Mr Sonowal said, the proposed Water Metro systems is significantly less capital intensive as it utilises existing waterways with minimal civil infrastructure.

भारतीय संत महापरिषद का वैश्विक सम्मेलन कल नई दिल्ली स्थित रामकृष्ण मिशन में आयोजित किया गया। इस सम्मेलन का मुख्य उद्देश्य सांस्कृतिक सद्भाव बढ़ाना, सभ्यतागत एकता को आध्यात्मिक संवाद से जोड़ना और भारत में निहित साझा परंपराओं के माध्यम से भारतीय मूल्यों का पुनरुद्धार करना था। सम्मेलन के दौरान संतों ने भारत भर में संस्कार केंद्रों की स्थापना पर चर्चा की। इसके अलावा सम्मेलन में भाग लेने वालों ने भावी पीढि़यों के लिए भारत की आध्यात्मिक और सभ्यतागत विरासत के संरक्षण पर बल दिया।

दिल्ली नगर निगम-एमसीडी ने करोल बाग ज़ोन में धूल नियंत्रण उपायों को सुदृढ़ करने और प्रमुख लोक निर्माण विभाग ने सड़कों पर स्वच्छता में सुधार सुनिश्चित करने के लिए 15 दिवसीय “धूल मुक्त सड़क” अभियान शुरू किया है। यह अभियान निरंतर मशीनों द्वारा सड़क सफाई, मैनुअल सफाई और बड़े पैमाने पर धूल हटाने की गतिविधियों के माध्यम से सड़कों को “नो डस्ट” स्थिति में बनाए रखने पर केंद्रित है।
इस सफाई अभियान में एमआरएस मशीनें, वाटर स्प्रिंकलर/एएसजी, पानी के टैंकर, ऑटो टिपर और साथ ही 40 सफाई कर्मचारियों को तैनात किया गया है।
इस अभियान के अंतर्गत प्रमुख सड़क मार्गों की नियमित निगरानी, कचरे का त्वरित उठान और निरंतर रखरखाव पर भी विशेष जोर दिया जा रहा है, ताकि दीर्घकालिक धूल नियंत्रण और बेहतर सार्वजनिक स्वच्छता सुनिश्चित की जा सके।
वहीं, करोल बाग ज़ोन के उपायुक्त दिलखुश मीणा ने बताया कि यह अभियान सख्त फील्ड मॉनिटरिंग और समर्पित सफाई व्यवस्था के साथ संचालित किया जा रहा है, उन्होंने बताया कि स्वच्छता अभियानों के अंतर्गत साफ-सुथरी सड़कें, प्रभावी धूल नियंत्रण और नागरिकों की सुविधा सुनिश्चित की जा सके।

महाराष्ट्र आवास और विकास प्राधिकरण-एमएचएडीए के मुंबई बोर्ड ने 2 हजार 640 फ्लैटों के लिए आवेदन जमा करने की समय सीमा बढ़ा दी है। इन फ्लैटों को 30 मार्च, 2026 को बिक्री के लिए पेश किया गया था। सोमवार को मुंबई से जारी एक आधिकारिक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, अब आवेदन 28 मई, 2026 तक जमा किए जा सकते हैं। इसके अलावा, लॉटरी में शामिल कन्नमवार नगर-विक्रोली (पूर्व) परियोजना के 1 हजार 221 फ्लैटों में से, एमएचएडीए ने बताया कि 6 सौ 10 फ्लैट अब विशेष रूप से उच्च आय वर्ग के लिए उपलब्ध कराए गए हैं। बोर्ड ने बताया कि अब तक 78 हजार 976 आवेदन प्राप्त हुए हैं। प्राधिकरण ने बताया कि आवेदनों की अनंतिम सूची 10 जून को प्रकाशित की जाएगी, जबकि अंतिम सूची 16 जून को एमएचएडीए की वेबसाइट पर प्रकाशित की जाएगी। फ्लैटों की बिक्री के लिए कम्प्यूटरीकृत लॉटरी ड्रॉ की तारीख, स्थान और समय की घोषणा बाद में की जाएगी।

भारत सरकार के जल शक्ति मंत्रालय और पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ने सोमवार को पश्चिम बंगाल में ‘जल जीवन मिशन’ को लागू करने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस समझौता ज्ञापन का आदान-प्रदान कोलकाता में जल शक्ति मंत्रालय के पेयजल और स्वच्छता विभाग तथा जन स्वास्थ्य और इंजीनियरिंग विभाग के बीच एक वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस बैठक में हुआ, जिसमें मुख्यमंत्री शुभेंदु अधिकारी और केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री सी.आर. पाटिल उपस्थित थे। अपने वीडियो संबोधन में मुख्यमंत्री शुभेंदु अधिकारी ने कहा कि राज्य में जल जीवन मिशन को पूरी मुस्तैदी के साथ लागू किया जाएगा। उन्होंने यह भी उल्लेख किया कि ममता बनर्जी के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार के दौरान इस कार्यक्रम को ज़मीनी स्तर पर लागू नहीं किया गया था।
केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्री सी.आर. पाटिल ने कहा कि जल जीवन मिशन को लागू करने के लिए धनराशि उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी, जिसके तहत हर घर को पाइप से पेयजल की सुविधा प्रदान की जाएगी। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों और प्राथमिक विद्यालयों को भी पाइप से पेयजल के कनेक्शन उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे।

Oil marketing companies in Telangana have confirmed that petrol, diesel, and cooking gas supplies are sufficient and stable across the state. There is no shortage of any fuel product anywhere. The companies said they are closely monitoring supply and improving delivery systems. During the first half of May, petrol supplies increased by 14.2 percent and diesel supplies went up by 15.7 percent.

Ruskin Bond (born 19 May 1934) is an Indian author and poet. His first novel, The Room on the Roof, published in 1956, received the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize. Since then, he has written over five hundred short stories, essays and novels, including The Blue Umbrella, Funny Side Up, A Flight of Pigeons (on which the Hindi film Junoon is based), and more than 50 books for children. He also published his autobiography in what might be called two installments: Scenes from a Writer’s Life, describing his formative years growing up in Anglo-India, and a further autobiography, Lone Fox Dancing. The Lamp is Lit is a collection of essays and episodes from his journal. Since 1963, Bond has lived as a freelance writer in Mussoorie, staying with his adoptive family in Landour, Mussoorie’s Ivy Cottage, which has been his home since 1980.
