In a move aimed at strengthening biodiversity conservation and promoting eco-tourism in the state, the Manipur government has announced plans to develop a bird sanctuary at Kharungpat in Kakching district. According to a senior forest official, the proposed sanctuary will cover around 227 hectares, accounting for about 6.7 per cent of the total wetland area. The site is considered ecologically significant, particularly for the conservation of waterbirds, including both resident and migratory species.

उत्तराखंड में चार धाम यात्रा के लिए ऑफलाइन पंजीकरण कल से शुरू हो गया है। पहले दिन दो हजार सात सौ तेरह श्रद्धालुओं ने व्यक्तिगत रूप से पंजीकरण कराया। रविवार से शुरू हो रही यात्रा से पहले ही पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है। आधिकारिक आंकड़ों के अनुसार, ऑफलाइन पंजीकरण केंद्रों पर यमुनात्री के लिए 683, गंगोत्री के लिए 690, केदारनाथ के लिए 667 और बद्रीनाथ के लिए 673 तीर्थयात्रियों ने पंजीकरण कराया है। श्रद्धालुओं के लिए मौके पर पंजीकरण की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने के लिए विभिन्न ट्रांजिट पॉइंट्स पर भी टीमें जा रही हैं।
इस बीच, 6 मार्च को शुरू हुई ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया अभी भी जारी है, जिसमें अब तक लगभग 18 लाख 23 हजार श्रद्धालुओं ने डिजिटल रूप से पंजीकरण कराया है। अक्षय तृतीया के अवसर पर 19 अप्रैल को तीर्थयात्रा आधिकारिक रूप से शुरू होगी।

Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre announced that violators will be blacklisted. यश चोपड़ा के बैनर तले बनी ये फिल्म ‘नूरी’ की मेकिंग किसी जादू से कम नहीं थी। इस फिल्म का कुल बजट सिर्फ 10 लाख रुपये था। फिल्म की पूरी शूटिंग महज 28 दिनों के अंदर पूरी कर ली गई थी। इतना ही नहीं, फिल्म के सभी कालजयी गानों को रिकॉर्ड करने में केवल 3 दिन लगा था। जब ये फिल्म पर्दे पर रिलीज हुई, तो इसकी कमाई ने फिल्म मेकर्स को चौका दिया था।
बता दें कि अपने करियर में पूनम ने राजेश खन्ना के साथ फिल्म ‘रेड रोज’ में काम किया था। इतना ही नहीं राजेश खन्ना के साथ उन्होंने 6 फिल्मों ‘रेड रोज’ (1980), ‘दर्द’ (1981), ‘निशान’ (1983), ‘जमाना’ (1985), ‘आवाम’ (1987), ‘जय शिव शंकर’ (1990) जैसी फिल्मों में काम किया था. इसके अलावा सनी देओल के साथ साल 1984 में उन्होंने फिल्म ‘सोहनी महिवाल’ में भी काम किया था।

Mahendra Sandhu started his career in 1973 with Khoon Khoon, a movie inspired by Dirty Harry. He has acted in 30 films, most famously in Agent Vinod (1977), produced by Rajshri Pictures. He had impressed Tarachand Barjatya with his performance in Khoon Ki Keemat and was offered two movies. He refused those, but agreed to work in Agent Vinod.
