तमिलनाडु–पश्चित बंगाल नामांकन प्रक्रिया

 

तमिलनाडु और पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव के पहले चरण के लिए अधिसूचना जारी होने के साथ आज नामांकन दाखिल करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो जाएगी।

 

तमिलनाडु की सभी 234 विधानसभा सीटों के लिए 23 अप्रैल को एक ही चरण में मतदान होगा। वही, पश्चिम बंगाल में पहले चरण के तहत 152 विधानसभा सीटों के लिए 23 अप्रैल को मतदान होना है।  नामांकन दाखिल करने की अंतिम तिथि 6 अप्रैल है, जबकि उम्मीदवारों के नाम वापस लेने की अंतिम तिथि 9 अप्रैल निर्धारित की गई है।

 

पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव के दूसरे चरण की अधिसूचना 2 अप्रैल को जारी की जाएगी। इस चरण में 142 विधानसभा सीटों के लिए 29 अप्रैल को मतदान होगा।

In a major administrative overhaul in West Bengal, the Election Commission has removed the Officers-in-Charge of 170 police stations across the state, including high-profile Assembly constituencies like Bhowanipore and Nandigram.

 

Based on recommendations from the Chief Electoral Officer’s department, the Commission has approved the transfer and realignment of a total of 184 police officials, including 11 high-ranking officers.

 

The Election Commission has issued a clear directive that no laxity will be tolerated in the conduct of free and fair elections.

The Lok Sabha will today take up the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025,  for further discussion. The Bill aims to further amend the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016. It seeks to address procedural delays and interpretational issues among companies and individuals. The house is also scheduled to raise a discussion on efforts to free the country from left-wing extremism    

 

Rajya Sabha is scheduled to take up the Central Armed Police Forces (General Administration) Bill, 2026, for consideration and passing. The bill aims to regulate the general rules governing the recruitment and conditions of service of Group A General Duty Officers and other officers in the Central Armed Police Forces.

सरकार ने एक गजट अधिसूचना जारी कर 21 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली के तहत उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले केरोसिन तेल के वितरण की अनुमति दी है। यह निर्णय विश्वभर में ऊर्जा आपूर्ति को प्रभावित कर रही भू-राजनीतिक परिस्थितियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए लिया गया है। इसका उद्देश्य उन क्षेत्रों में खाना पकाने और प्रकाश व्यवस्था की जरूरतों को पूरा करना है जहां सामान्य परिस्थितियों में केरोसिन का उपयोग बंद कर दिया गया था। यह अधिसूचना तत्काल प्रभाव से लागू हो गई है और 60 दिनों तक या अगले आदेश तक वैध रहेगी।

Once upon a time film promotion was done through posters. People used to throng cinema halls after seeing big hand painted posters. With changing time and technology, this art of film promotion faded. To re-visit the era of film posters Tuli Research Centre for India Studies,TRCI organized a poster exhibition at the International Film Festival Delhi. The initiative has attracted significant attention through its special and rare collection of bygone golden era of Indian cinema. Talking to Akashavani Founder TRCI, Neville Tuli said it is an unique work to compile so many artifacts at one place.

 

Among the most emotional presentations at the exhibition was one of the greatest Indian films, “Mughal-e-Azam”. In addition to posters, the unique identity of Indian cinema-jubilee trophies-has also been exhibited in large numbers, including rare trophies for silver jubilee and golden jubilee of many films.

In IPL cricket, Mumbai Indians defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by six wickets in the second match held in Mumbai last night.

 

Put into bat first, Kolkata Knight Riders posted a massive total of 220 for 4.  In reply, Mumbai Indians overhauled the target for the loss of four wickets in 19.1 overs. Mumbai Indians bowler Shardul Thakur was named Player of the Match after picking up three wickets.

दिल्ली के भारत मंडपम में आयोजित अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव 2026, राजधानी को वैश्विक फिल्म हब बनाने की दिशा में एक अहम कदम माना जा रहा है। यह महोत्सव दिल्ली पर्यटन और परिवहन विकास निगम द्वारा आयोजित किया जा रहा है।

 

मंगलवार तक चलने वाले इस महोत्सव में 47 देशों की 125 से अधिक फिल्मों का प्रदर्शन किया जा रहा है। महोत्सव का उद्देश्य रचनात्मक अर्थव्यवस्था को बढ़ावा देना, फिल्म पर्यटन को प्रोत्साहित करना और नई प्रतिभाओं को अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच प्रदान करना है। यह आयोजन भारतीय सिनेमा के वैश्विक प्रभाव और ‘सॉफ्ट पावर’ के रूप में उसकी भूमिका को दर्शाता है। इस महोत्सव के माध्यम से दिल्ली अब केवल प्रशासनिक राजधानी ही नहीं, बल्कि धीरे-धीरे रचनात्मक और मनोरंजन उद्योग के एक केंद्र के रूप में उभर रही है।

CHENNAI METRO

In CHennai, the Regional Weather Department has predicted a rise in temperatures in April. Temperatures may reach up to 40°C, with dry weather expected in the city and suburbs. Across the state, temperatures could be 2–3°C above normal. Last week, temperatures were recorded around 35–36°C.

A team from the University of Madras has discovered a ring well from the Sangam Era at Chettimedu Pathur in Chengalpet district.

 

Jinu Koshy, excavation in charge, said that the well was found at a depth of 1.49 metres and has six interlocking rings, wider at the base and narrower at the top. He said this type of construction has also been seen at other Sangam sites like Keeladi and Pattarai Perumbudur, showing advanced ancient building techniques.

नवी मुंबई अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर अप्रैल से 30 नए घरेलू मार्गों पर उडानें शुरू होंगी। एक बयान में एनएमआईए ने घोषणा की कि ग्रीष्मकालीन शेड्यूल में उड़ान संचालन बढ़कर प्रतिदिन लगभग 156 उड़ानें हो जाएगा। दिल्ली, गोवा, बेंगलुरु और कोचीन जैसे शहरों में सबसे अधिक उड़ानें होंगी। यह हवाई अड्डा कई टियर-1 और टियर-2 शहरों से जुड़ेगा, जिससे यात्रा में सुधार होगा और मुंबई क्षेत्र में बढ़ती यात्री मांग को पूरा करने में मदद मिलेगी।

महाराष्ट्र–विकास प्राधिकरण

महाराष्ट्र आवास एवं क्षेत्र विकास प्राधिकरण (एमएचएडीए) ने मुंबई के ईडब्ल्यूएस, एलआईजी, एमआईजी और एचआईजी श्रेणियों में 2,640 आवास इकाइयों की बिक्री की घोषणा की है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन आज से शुरू होंगे और लॉटरी का ड्रॉ 15 मई को होगा। इन आवासों में नए, पुनर्विकसित और बिना बिकी इकाइयां शामिल हैं। आवेदकों को सलाह दी गई है कि वे एजेंटों के माध्यम से नहीं बल्कि सीधे आवेदन करें।

BENGALURU METRO 1

The Karnataka government said there is no shortage of Auto LPG. Supply is stable across the state. According to official sources, Auto LPG is available at 72 Auto LPG Dispensing Stations (ALDS), including 31 in Bengaluru. Officials noted that supply has increased recently. Every day, about 4 lakh domestic and 18,000 commercial LPG cylinders are also being distributed across Karnataka.

BENGALURU METRO 2

Bengaluru East City Corporation Commissioner D.S. Ramesh announced that Authorities will take over 51 properties in Mahadevapura and K.R. Puram due to unpaid property tax.

 

He said, Despite notices, reminders, and auction efforts, these properties neither cleared dues nor were sold. Owners of these properties have now been given a final one-month chance to pay dues. If they fail, the government will take ownership, recover the tax, and return any extra money to the owners.

पश्चिम बंगाल में विधानसभा चुनावों से पहले अवैध गतिविधियों को रोकने के लिए निगरानी बढ़ा दी गई है। अधिकारियों ने 26 फरवरी से 29 मार्च 2026 के बीच नकदी, शराब, ड्रग्स, कीमती धातुओं और मुफ्त उपहारों सहित 250 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक मूल्य की वस्तुएं जब्त कीं।

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) said its Mahalakshmi Free Bus Travel Scheme has helped women save about 10,000 crore rupees in travel costs. The scheme Launched on December 9, 2023, has issued over 290 crore free tickets in around 28 months. State Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and TGSRTC Managing Director Y. Nagi Reddy IPS said, earlier, women spent about 1,500 to 2,500 rupees per month on bus fares, which they can now save. With this scheme Women’s bus usage has increased from 40 to over 67 percent, with more than 35 lakh women travelling daily for free. The government also plans to introduce chip-based smart cards soon to make travel easier without needing Aadhaar verification each time.

• 1919 : महात्मा गांधी ने ‘रॉलेक्ट एक्ट’ का विरोध करने की घोषणा की। रॉलेट एक्ट (मार्च 1919) ब्रिटिश सरकार द्वारा भारत में पारित एक दमनकारी कानून था, जिसे ‘काला कानून’ कहा गया। इसके तहत सरकार किसी भी भारतीय को बिना मुकदमा चलाए या वारंट के गिरफ्तार कर जेल में डाल सकती थी। जस्टिस सिडनी रॉलेट की सिफारिश पर बने इस कानून का उद्देश्य स्वतंत्रता संग्राम को कुचलना था, जिसके विरोध में गांधीजी ने सत्याग्रह किया।

 

• 1929 – First Imperial Airmail service departed London for India. The airmail left London on March 30 and arrived in Karachi on April 6. This service dramatically reduced communication time between Britain and India, connecting the empire faster than traditional sea mail.

 

• आज ही के दिन 1949 में 22 रियासतों को मिलाकर राजस्‍थान की स्‍थापना की गई थी। आजादी के पहले राजस्थान को राजपूताना के नाम से जाना जाता था। पूरे राजपूताना में 19 रियासतें और 3 ठिकाने थे। इन रियासतों और ठिकानों के एकीकरण के बाद 30 मार्च 1949 को राजस्थान बना। इन रियासतों का एकीकरण सात चरणों में पूरा हुआ।

 

• 1959 – 14th Dalai Lama seeked refuge in India. Tenzin Gyatso reached the India-Tibet border area (Khenzimane, Arunachal Pradesh) while fleeing Chinese forces in Lhasa. देविका रानी –जन्म– 30 मार्च, 1908,

भारतीय सिनेमा में एक समय ऐसा था जब फिल्मों में महिलाओं के रोल भी पुरुष निभाते थे। धीरे-धीरे महिलाओं ने सिनेमा में कदम रखा। इन्हीं शुरुआती महिलाओं में से एक थीं देविका रानी जिन्हें भारतीय फिल्म जगत की पहली सुपरस्टार कहा जाता है। भारतीय रजतपट की पहली स्थापित नायिका जो अपने युग से कहीं आगे की सोच रखने वाली अभिनेत्री थीं। उन्होंने अपनी फ़िल्मों के माध्यम से सामाजिक रूढ़ियों और मान्यताओं को चुनौती देते हुए नए मानवीय मूल्यों और संवेदनाओं को स्थापित करने का काम किया था। देविका ने दस वर्ष के अपने फ़िल्मी कैरियर में कुल 15 फ़िल्मों में ही काम किया, लेकिन उनकी हर फ़िल्म को क्लासिक का दर्जा हासिल है। विषय की गहराई और सामाजिक सरोकारों से जुड़ी उनकी फ़िल्मों ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय और भारतीय फ़िल्म जगत् में नए मूल्य और मानदंड स्थापित किए। हिंदी फ़िल्मों की पहली स्वप्न सुंदरी और ड्रैगन लेडी जैसे विशेषणों से अलंकृत देविका को उनकी ख़ूबसूरती, शालीनता धाराप्रवाह अंग्रेज़ी और अभिनय कौशल के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर जितनी लोकप्रियता और सराहना मिली उतनी कम ही अभिनेत्रियों को नसीब हो पाती है।

 

1933 में निर्मित कर्मा फ़िल्म देविका के कैरियर का अहम मोड़ साबित हुई। इस फिल्म ने देविका रानी को बड़ी पहचान दिलाई और वे रातों-रात स्टार बन गईं। यह यूरोप में रिलीज होने वाली अंग्रेज़ी भाषा में बनी पहली भारतीय फ़िल्म थी। जिसके लंदन में विशेष शो आयोजित किए गए

 

पति हिमांशु राय के साथ मिलकर देविका रानी ने बांबे टॉकीज बैनर की स्थापना की। 1936 में आई फिल्म ‘अछूत कन्या’ ने देविका रानी को इंडस्ट्री की टॉप एक्ट्रेस बना दिया। देविका रानी ने भारतीय सिनेमा में महिलाओं के लिए एक नई राह बनाई। भारतीय सिनेमा में महत्‍वपूर्ण योगदान के लिए 1969 में उन्हें दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। इसके अलावा देविका रानी फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री की प्रथम महिला बनी जिन्हें पद्मश्री से नवाजा गया।

Today is the birthday of Norah Jones, an American singer-songwriter and musician. She has won several awards for her music and, as of 2023, has sold more than 53 million records worldwide. Billboard named her the top jazz artist of the 2000s decade. She has won ten Grammy Awards.

 

In 2002, Jones launched her solo music career with the release of Come Away with Me, which was a fusion of jazz with country, blues, folk and pop. It was certified diamond, selling over 27 million copies, making it the highest-selling debut studio album by a solo artist in the 21st century. The record earned Jones five Grammy Awards, including the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist, making her the first person of South Asian descent to win that many Grammy Awards.^[8] Her subsequent studio albums Feels Like Home (2004), Not Too Late (2007), and The Fall (2009) all gained platinum status, selling more than a million copies each.

आनंद बख़्शी –मृत्यु– 30 मार्च 2002

बॉलीवुड में कुछ गीतकार ऐसे हैं, जिन्होंने शब्दों के जरिए जज्बातों को सीधे दिलों तक पहुंचाया है. आनंद बक्शी उन्हीं चुनिंदा गीतकारों में से एक थे.. उनके लिखे गीतों की खास बात थी कि वो आम बोलचाल की भाषा में होते थे, जिनमें भावनाएं साफ झलकती थीं. चाहे प्यार हो, दर्द हो, दोस्ती हो या देशभक्ति, उन्होंने हर तरह की भावनाओं को बहुत सुंदर शब्दों में लिखा।

 

बचपन से ही मज़बूत इरादे वाले आनंद बख़्शी अपने सपनों को साकार करने के लिए नए जोश के साथ मुंबई पहुंचे, जहाँ उनकी मुलाकात उस जमाने के मशहूर अभिनेता भगवान दादा से हुई। भगवान दादा ने उन्हें अपनी फ़िल्म ‘बड़ा आदमी’ में गीतकार के रूप में काम करने का मौक़ा दिया। इस फ़िल्म के जरिए एक गीतकार के रूप में उनके सिने कैरियर का सफर शुरू हो गया। वर्ष 1965 में ‘जब जब फूल खिले’ प्रदर्शित हुई तो उन्हें उनके गाने सुपरहिट रहे और गीतकार के रुप में उनकी पहचान बन गई। इसी वर्ष फ़िल्म ‘हिमालय की गोद में’ उनके गीत को भी लोगों ने काफ़ी पसंद किया। वर्ष 1967 में प्रदर्शित सुनील दत्त और नूतन अभिनीत फ़िल्म ‘मिलन’ के सदाबहार गानों के जरिए उन्होंने गीतकार के रूप में नई ऊंचाइयों को छू लिया। चार दशक तक फ़िल्मी गीतों के बेताज बादशाह रहे आनंद बख़्शी ने 550 से भी ज़्यादा फ़िल्मों में लगभग 4000 गीत लिखे।

 

गीतकार आनन्द बख़्शी ने संगीतकार लक्ष्मीकांत-प्यारेलाल के साथ काम करते हुए ‘फ़र्ज़, ‘दो रास्ते’, ‘बॉबी, ‘अमर अकबर एन्थॉनी, ‘इक दूजे के लिए’ और राहुल देव बर्मन के साथ ‘कटी पतंग, ‘अमर प्रेम’, हरे रामा हरे कृष्णा ‘ और ‘लव स्टोरी ‘ फ़िल्मों में अमर गीत दिये। फ़िल्म ‘अमर प्रेम’ (1971) के ‘बड़ा नटखट है किशन कन्हैया’, ‘कुछ तो लोग कहेंगे’, ‘ये क्या हुआ’, और ‘रैना बीती जाये’ जैसे उत्कृष्ट गीत हर दिल में धड़कते हैं और सुनने वाले के दिल की सदा में बसते हैं।

मनोहर श्याम जोशी –मृत्यु: 30 मार्च, 2006, नई दिल्ली)

अगर भारत में टेलीविजन को एक शक्तिशाली सामाजिक हथियार बनाने का श्रेय किसी एक व्यक्ति को जाता है, तो वे निर्विवाद रूप से मनोहर श्याम जोशी हैं। 1984 में 154 एपिसोड तक चले ‘हम लोग’ ने उन्हें ‘भारतीय सोप ओपेरा का जनक’ बना दिया अजमेर में जन्मे मनोहर श्याम जोशी की जड़ें उत्तराखंड के अल्मोड़ा के एक सुसंस्कृत कुमाऊंनी ब्राह्मण परिवार में थीं। दिलचस्प बात यह है कि हिंदी साहित्य के इस पुरोधा ने शुरुआत साहित्य से नहीं बल्कि विज्ञान से की थी। लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय से बीएससी करने वाले जोशी की मुलाकात हिंदी साहित्य के दिग्गज अमृतलाल नागर (‘बाबूजी’) से हुई।

 

अमृतलाल नागर के सान्निध्य में युवा मनोहर श्याम जोशी ने एक बड़ा सबक सीखा कि महान साहित्य वह नहीं जो भारी-भरकम संस्कृत के शब्दों से डराए बल्कि वह है जो सीधे आम आदमी के दिल में उतरे। यहीं से मनोहर श्याम जोशी के भीतर उस ‘किस्सागो’ का जन्म हुआ। लेखक बनने से पहले वे एक पत्रकार थे। ऑल इंडिया रेडियो में काम करते हुए उन्होंने आवाज की ताकत पहचानी और ‘फिल्म्स डिवीजन’ में वृत्तचित्र लिखते हुए ‘सिनेमाई दृष्टि’ पाई। उनकी पत्रकारिता का सबसे चमकीला दौर तब आया जब साहित्य के शलाका पुरुष अज्ञेय जी ने उन्हें ‘दिनमान’ पत्रिका का सहायक संपादक बनाया।

 

1986 में आया धारावाहिक ‘बुनियाद’ इसके बाद ‘कक्काजी कहिन’ से लेकर ‘मुंगेरीलाल के हसीन सपने’ तक, उन्होंने टीवी के पर्दे पर जो व्यंग्य और मनोवैज्ञानिक हास्य रचा, उसकी मिसाल आज तक नहीं मिलती। उनका पहला उपन्यास ‘कुरु कुरु स्वाहा’ (1980) आया उनका उपन्यास ‘कसप’ हिंदी की सबसे खूबसूरत और त्रासद प्रेम कथाओं में गिना जाता है। वहीं, ‘क्याप’ के लिए उन्हें 2005 में साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार मिला।

 

30 मार्च 2006 का दिन भारतीय साहित्य के लिए एक दुभाग्‍यशाली दिन साबित हुआ। 72 वर्ष की आयु में नई दिल्ली में मनोहर श्याम जोशी ने अपनी अंतिम सांस ली।

2006 में, नागेश को फिल्‍म इकबाल के निर्देशन के लिए अन्य सामाजिक मुद्दों पर सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्म का राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार मिला। 2015 में उन्होंने रोड मूवी धनक का निर्देशन किया। इस फिल्म ने सिनेमा इन स्नीकर्स (फिल्म महोत्सव) में मुख्य श्रेणी – बाल फीचर फिल्म प्रतियोगिता – में सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्म का पुरस्कार और मॉन्ट्रियल अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाल फिल्म महोत्सव में सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्म का पुरस्कार भी जीता है।इस फिल्म को 2016 के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ बाल फिल्म का राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया।
