As part of its nationwide campaign commemorating 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre, the Bharatiya Janata Party will organise special prayers in temples across all 403 Assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh today. Party leaders and workers will offer prayers for the long life and good health of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Special programmes will be organised in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of PM Modi.
BJP State President and Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary will perform special prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. Prior to the temple visit, he will visit an orphanage in Lahurabir, where he will distribute clothes and fruits among orphaned children.
Varanasi, being the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will witness various programs on this occasion, including cleanliness drives, fruit and sweet distribution and bhandaras at various temples throughout the day. Later in the evening, there will be a grand theft show to commemorate the achievement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The party state unit has also directed all its MPs, MLAs, district presidents, and office bearers to visit temples in their respective constituencies and participate in prayer ceremonies seeking blessings for the Prime Minister.
The programme forms part of the BJP’s campaign titled “12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare”, launched to highlight the achievements of the Modi government over the past twelve years. The party is conducting a mass outreach programme across the state until June 14.
According to the schedule, public welfare camps will be organised from June 14 to 16, followed by Viksit Bharat Sankalp Conferences at the district level on June 16 and 17. These events will focus on promoting the government’s vision of a developed India and showcasing key achievements of both the Central and State governments.
In addition, exhibitions highlighting government accomplishments and workshops on natural farming will be organised until June 21.
