BJP to launch Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan in Madhya Pradesh today

The Bharatiya Janata Party will launch the “Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan” in Madhya Pradesh from today until February 20, 2027, to mark the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Maharaj. Nationwide campaign to be conducted in five phases. The campaign will begin with the “Samrasta Deepotsav”. Lamps will be lit simultaneously at about 21,000 locations, covering 62 organisational districts and 1,313 mandals across the state.
 
In the second phase, sacred soil from Seer Govardhanpur in Varanasi, the birthplace of Guru Ravidas, will be brought to Madhya Pradesh. The sacred pots will first be installed in Bhopal and then sent to all organisational districts.The third phase will feature the ‘Guru Ravidas Samrasta Yatra’. The fourth phase will include the ‘Sant Sampark Abhiyan’, while the fifth phase will focus on the ‘Chhatravas Sampark Abhiyan’.
 
The campaign aims to spread the message of social harmony, equality and brotherhood across the state.
