The BJP today accused Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Senior Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi of not discharging his role as constructive opposition. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, citing a news report, accused foreign-based organisations of amplifying protests in India.

He also alleged a wider conspiracy to create anarchy and chaos in the country. He alleged that the news report shows how events in France and regime changes in several other countries are linked to the protests being staged in India. He claimed that the report says that 101 organisations across 9 countries are involved in organising demonstrations.
