Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today hit out at Congress leadership for maintaining silence over the bravery of Captain Smit Machchhar. Talking to the media in New Delhi, BJP National Spokesperson Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi said that while Captain Machchhar’s bravery is being acclaimed in India and globally, the senior leadership of the Congress party has remained silent on his achievement. He alleged that this silence stems from the opposition party’s fear of losing its vote bank.
