The BJP today said that the centre is with the students and its foremost priority is to safeguard the future of the youth of the country. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj said that the Narendra Modi led BJP Government has placed the mantra of Youth Led Development as the foundation to strengthen the Viksit Bharat.

 

Ms Swaraj noted that the NEET re-examination was conducted in just 37 days, and the results were declared within 25 days. She also highlighted that the government took immediate action and arrested 13 accused of paper leak and now all are behind the bars. Ms Swaraj said that the accused will be given stringent punishment at the earliest.

 

Highlighting the future developments related to the conduct of examination, Ms Swaraj emphasised that to ensure a better education ecosystem and technology has been leveraged to eliminate loopholes. She noted that the government is also moving towards computer based testing for NEET, and technology is being leveraged through AI and advanced surveillance. Talking about the protest, BJP MP underlined that the government had shown restraint, allowed peaceful protest, and remained open to dialogue.
