In Gujarat, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ across all districts today to mark PM Modi’s 25 years of public service, first as Gujarat Chief Minister and later as the country’s Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister’s address at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha in New Delhi was broadcast live from the yatra’s departure points across the state, after which local leaders lit the ‘Seva Jyot’ to mark the beginning of the Yatra.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the Seva Jyoti Yatra programme in Ahmedabad, while State BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma attended the Seva Jyoti event at Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi participated in the programme at Shri Vardayini Mataji Temple in Rupal village of Gandhinagar district.
