Rajya Sabha MP and BJP National President Nitin Nabin contributed 6 lakh 35 thousand rupees from his three-month salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for Bihar floods. In a social media post, Mr Nabin said, “The government is continuously monitoring the flood situation in Bihar and is working with full preparedness to ensure timely relief and necessary assistance reaches the affected people.” He added that teams from the National Disaster Response Force and the State Disaster Response Force are deployed for rescue operations, along with arrangements for relief camps, community kitchens, medical facilities, and animal fodder.

The MP further added that the process of assessing crop damage to farmers and providing necessary assistance is also underway. Mr Nabin informed us that the state government has provided a total amount exceeding 550 crore rupees as financial assistance of 7000 rupees per family to families affected by the floods.
