Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Fatehabad in Agra, Chhote Lal Verma, died yesterday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Noida. He was reportedly suffering from fever for the past two days.

 

Following a deterioration in his health, the MLA was admitted to a private hospital in Rajpur Chungi, Agra. As his condition did not improve despite treatment, his family members decided to take him to Delhi for further treatment. However, his condition worsened en route, following which he was admitted to a hospital in Noida, where he died during treatment. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the demise of the Fatehabad MLA.
