In Manipur, the BJP Manipur Pradesh today observed Samvidhan Hatya Diwas at Thambal Sanglen in Imphal. Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh, State Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam, office bearers of BJP Manipur Pradesh and others attended the observation. Addressing the gathering, the Manipur Chief Minister said that the national emergency declared in 1975 by the Congress Government at the Centre is very unfortunate and an assault on democratic values. He said that his Government is able to bring normalcy in the State slowly and peace will return very soon in the State.
