Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has planned a series of community-focused gatherings across Gujarat for the 137th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat today, with senior party leaders set to listen to the programme alongside youth, farmers, professionals and community members.
According to party leaders, National General Secretary Dr Satish Poonia will join members of the Rajasthani community at Sardar Smarak Bhavan in the Shahibaug area of Ahmedabad. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will listen to the programme at Booth No. 172 in the Ghatlodia Assembly constituency in the Thaltej area of the city. State BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma will attend a youth-focused gathering at Pramukh Arcade in the Kudasan area of Gandhinagar.
Union Jal Shakti Minister C. R. Patil will listen to the programme with chartered accountants and company secretaries at the Surat City BJP office in Udhna. At the same time, BJP National Vice-President Varsha Doshi will join young farmers at Dudhai in Muli taluka of Surendranagar district. The party has also arranged thematic programmes.
State minister Sanjaysinh Mahida will attend ‘Mann Ki Baat – Nari Shakti Ke Saath’ at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Temple at Yogi Farm in Piplag Chowkdi of Nadiad district. State general secretary Aniruddha Dave will attend ‘Mann Ki Baat – Kisan Aur Pashupalakon Ke Saath’ at Shishumandir in Bidada of Mandvi taluka.
In the Chandkheda area of Ahmedabad, State Vice-President Gautam Gediya and Mayor Hitesh Barot will attend ‘Mann Ki Baat – Anusuchit Samaj Ke Saath’ at Sant Shri Sadaram Bapa Community Hall. Party leaders said similar programmes would be held at all its booths across Gujarat, where party leaders, elected representatives, workers and citizens would listen to the broadcast.
