Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hit out at the Opposition parties for allegedly attempting to malign and weaken the nation’s autonomous and constitutional institutions. Talking to the media in New Delhi, senior BJP leader and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda accused Opposition leaders of misleading the public and attempting to create confusion in the country.

He alleged that the Opposition was vitiating the atmosphere even after the Election Commission had rejected the claims made by it. He also alleged that their only objective was to seize power, nurture dynastic politics and reap personal benefits, rather than serve the people.
