BJP hits out at Keralam govt for failing to appoint qualified PSC candidates

BJP today hit out at the Congress-led government in Keralam over the non-appointment of candidates who had cleared the Public Service Commission (PSC) examination and secured ranks. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao accused the state government of ignoring the candidates demands. He said the candidates had been protesting outside the State Secretariat for the past 114 days despite clearing the PSC examination and securing ranks. He alleged that the Congress remained silent on student protests and paper leaks in Congress-governed states while selectively raising issues for political gain. He said this reflected the Congress party’s double standards.
