BJP will celebrate the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Guru Ravidas as the Samarasya Sankalp Abhiyan. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP MP and National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said that starting from the auspicious day of Guru Purnima on the 29th of this month, a national campaign named “Sant Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj Samarasya Sankalp Abhiyan” will be conducted for seven months. He added that the campaign will be conducted till the birth anniversary of Sant Guru Ravidas on 20th February next year. Mr Chugh informed that there will be a worship of 131 kalash, and a grand procession will be taken out tomorrow at the birthplace of Sant Guru Ravidas in Varanasi.
