BJP MP Kangana Ranaut criticised the Opposition parties for deliberately disrupting Parliament and obstructing legislative business. Speaking to reporters at Parliament premises, Ms Ranaut alleged that the Opposition was unwilling to allow the House to function, irrespective of the importance of the issues being discussed. Referring to the Education Reform Bill introduced in Parliament, she claimed that Opposition members refused to support the legislation and opposed its passage.
Rebel TMC Leader Saayoni Ghosh today called for a constructive debate in Parliament over the bill related to Examination Reforms. She criticised the Opposition for not allowing Parliament to function and creating a ruckus, despite the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Stating that these disruptions are not a healthy sign for democracy, Ms Ghosh emphasised that the Opposition should discuss the bill with constructive inputs, adding that every minute of Parliament is precious.
