BJP has accused the AAP government in Punjab of not delivering on its promise of clearing Dearness Allowance (DA) to its government employees.

Addressing media in New Delhi, BJP Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari said that over three lakh state government employees are protesting as their DA have not been cleared so far. Mr Bhandari also raised the issue of vacant teaching posts, including in colleges and higher education. He alleged that the AAP-led government in Punjab is involved in corruption, due to which the per capita income is declining in the State. Mr Bhandari sought to know from the Punjab government and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal when the DA amounting to over 20 thousand crore rupees will be cleared,
