BJP President Nitin Nabin today hit out at the opposition, accusing it of attempting to destabilise the country in collusion with foreign powers. In a social media post, Mr Nabin alleged that the use of the term “regime change” exposed its agenda. He also alleged that the opposition’s fight is not for electoral reforms, the SIR, or the future of the country’s youth, but rather to spread anarchy in the country and seize power at any cost. He said, in democracy, the path to power passes through the mandate of the people, not through chaos. Mr Nabin added that India’s citizens and the BJP will never allow any attempt to weaken the country’s democratic system to succeed.
Meanwhile, addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP Spokesperson Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi alleged that the use of terms like ‘Regime Change’ points towards attempts to create a situation of unrest in India. He claimed that organizing of protests in Central Delhi during the ongoing festival season area can be aimed at harming the country’s growing economy.
