Balochistan: Five more bodies recovered as Pak atrocities continue

Violence by Pakistani authorities continues in Balochistan as five more bodies recovered from different areas of the province, including Mastung, Chaman and Sohbatpur.

In Mastung district, the body of an unidentified man was found in the Khad Kocha area. Media reports said, the man appeared to have been shot dead before his body was left along the roadside. Separately, an unidentified body was recovered from the Chaman area and taken to a hospital for identification and completion of necessary procedures. In Sohbatpur, the local administration confirmed the recovery of three bodies.

Last week, five bodies were brought to a hospital in Panjgur and were subsequently identified as men who had previously been reported missing.
The latest recoveries come amid continuing reports of unidentified bodies being found across several districts of Balochistan. Human rights organisations and relatives of missing persons have repeatedly alleged that some individuals reported as forcibly disappeared are later found dead, with their bodies abandoned in different locations.

The recurring recovery of unidentified bodies has renewed concerns among families of missing persons and Human rights organisations over alleged enforced disappearances and killings in Balochistan.
