A court in Bahrain has sentenced nine people to life imprisonment and two others to three years in jail for collaborating with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in what authorities described as hostile, and an act of terrorism against the country.
Bahrains’s state media said, these people were involved in gathering information on sensitive sites and facilitating related financial transfers. Bahrain’s interior ministry had said on 9th of this month that it arrested 41 people allegedly linked to the IRGC.
