At least ten killed in two separate road accidents in  Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh, at least ten people were killed in two separate road accidents on the Agra-Lucknow and Purvanchal expressways today.
 
In the first incident, six people lost their lives and more than ten others were injured after a bus overturned on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway near Unnao district.
 
Officials said the bus was travelling from Delhi to Gorakhpur when the driver reportedly lost control near the Auras police station area, causing the vehicle to overturn.
 
Several injured passengers have been admitted to hospitals, while critically injured victims were shifted to the Lucknow Trauma Centre for advanced treatment.
 
In another accident in the early hours today, four people were killed on the Purvanchal Expressway near Barabanki district. Police said the car in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary vehicle on the expressway. Further investigation into both accidents is underway.
 
BJP President Nitin Nabin today expressed grief at the loss of lives due to road accident on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh.
 
In a social media post, he called the accident tragic and heart-rending. Mr Nabin gave his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for swift recovery of those injured.
